| Our customers have numerous specific transport requirements. For example, a company needs to take an audio-visual unit to Africa, or transport fish hundreds of kilometres in the tropics. An exploration company wants to carry out a soil survey in Siberia where the temperature is 40 degrees Celsius in summer and minus 40 degrees Celsius in winter. Or a small mobile hospital is needed in the inland of Surinam and has to be driven to a different village each day. These are the types of transport requirements with which we are faced. We then endeavour to find a solution to the problem in consultation with the client. Roll cages and safety equipment In our Conversions division, vehicles can be adapted to (almost) all of your wishes. Vehicles can be equipped with roll cages, which are approved by the KNAF (Dutch Motorsport Association) and are accepted all over the world. The “Autocar-roll cages” are designed per model and can be fit internally or externally; some of the largest oil exploration companies especially ask for our roll cages. We also supply first aid kits, fire extinguishers, Codan radios, satellite phones, ballistic blankets and almost all other first aid and safety equipment. | |
| Ambulance conversions One example of many conversions in which we have a lot of experience is ambulance conversion. Over the years, our workshop has built a wide variety of ambulance conversions. We are able to build almost all types of ambulances, from the most basic ambulance (with only a static stretcher, an attendants seat and a roof beacon), to a fully equipped emergency ambulance (with for example a defibrillator, suction unit, oxygen therapy kit, a trolley stretcher) or even a mobile operating room. One of the most common, 4WD, ambulance models is the Toyota LandCruiser Hard Top Long. This vehicle has an excellent off road character as well as a large cargo compartment. We also convert Toyota Hiace, VW Transporter and Mercedes Benz Sprinter. Because of more than 25 years of ambulance-building experience we are able to advice you in creating a vehicle adapted to your wishes and needs. | |
